Jobs – Blender, Material Attendant

We have the roles below currently vacant and in need of filling urgently, preferably with some experience, however training will be given onsite.

All roles are permanent, full time roles.

The roles are:

• Blender – night shift
• Material Attendant – day shift
• Material Attendant – day shift or afternoon shift
• Material Attendant – forklift driver – day shift

Blender

In this role, the Blender is responsible for physically blending Valvoline’s motor oil, gear oil and hydraulic oils. This role works with another Blender who will carry out the training onsite. The Blender will need a forklift license. 

This role requires the applicant to have strong attention to detail, have good written and numeric skills (ESL is not an issue) and be physically fit.

The Material Attendant

In this role, the Material Attendant is responsible for the packaging of the finished product (made by the Blenders) and packaging that into the required packaging ie bottles and drums.

This role requires the applicant to have strong attention to detail, have good written and numeric skills (ESL is not an issue) and be physically fit as there is a considerable amount of manual handling, at times up to 18 kgs, however there are many manual handling devices to assist.

These roles are located at the production facility located at 30 Davis Rd, Wetherill Park.

All roles at the factory are covered by an EBA, 20 days annual leave and 10 personal leave days.

Valvoline also gives its employees at this site 6 RDO days to be taken on a set day throughout the year.

Starting salary is $1,131 per week, plus super, plus shift penalties. (20% for afternoon shift, 30% for night shift)

6 month probation period, then uniform and safety boots will be supplied. All other personal protective equipment will be supplied, safety glasses, gloves etc.

At the site we have a mix of males and females, from many countries, Australia, South East Asia, India, Africa, Europe.
