Description: Commercial / Industrial Sewing Machinist
Location: Collingwood, Victoria
Sample Room is an ethically accredited small business in Collingwood in Melbourne specialising in developing and manufacturing clothing and textile products for 3rd parties (designers, etc.).
We are seeking an experienced commercial / industrial sewing machinist to work in our safe and comfortable workroom either Full or Part time. We have a small, close knit team and celebrate incredible diversity in our workplace with team members from across the globe. We provide a safe and comfortable workplace and pay above award rates in alignment with our Ethical Clothing Australia accreditation.
The person we are looking for will need industrial / commercial sewing experience with:
- Flatbed
- 3/4/5 thread overlocker
- Any other sewing machine experience welcome.
We provide on the job training to ensure safe operation of machines and clear understanding of tasks.
