About the business and the role
Adelaide Hydraulics is a family business, manufacturing custom-built attachments, and hydraulics cylinders, which are sold across Australia through a network of dealers and original equipment manufacturers. A full time permanent position has become available for an experienced tradesperson to join our small dynamic team in Royal Park.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will be responsible for the following:
- Fabricating and welding earthmoving attachments and hydraulic cylinders, cutting, drilling, grinding and other fabrication activities.
- Confident in MIG and ARC welding.
- Fit and assemble metal parts, tools or sub-assemblies, including welding or brazing parts
- Able to read and understand engineering drawings and weld symbols.
- Work in accordance with relevant specifications and standards.
- Conduct basic Quality Assurance/Quality Control duties as directed.
- Other duties as required.
Skills and experience
To be considered you will need to have the following:
- Trade Certificate in Fabrication.
- Able to work unsupervised and/or as part of a team.
- Be reliable and have a sound work ethic.
- Possess a strong attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong commitment to safety and WHS policies and procedures.
