Association of Ukrainians in Victoria – Noble Park (South East) Branch
With the recent influx of Displaced Ukrainians (DPs) to our Community Centres, the Noble Park Branch is looking to employ a person to work with/assist the Noble Park Branch in managing the needs of newly arrived Ukrainians.
The role is varied and would involve working closely with branch members and DPs, and reporting to the Branch Committee through the President.
The applicant must be competent in both written and spoken Ukrainian and English.
The role would include (but is not limited to) the following tasks:
- Administrative work, data entry and invoicing (some accounting – knowledge of Xero preferred but not required)
- Setting up information sessions, functions for DP’s (Saturdays may be required)
- Liaising with DP’s to provide information and guidance
- Social media posting, website updates
- Emails – seeking out quotes, setting up appointments
- Current Driver’s licence and car is required as travel to our Community Centre will be required
- Setting up and attending zoom meetings as required
- Other duties may be required, depending on the needs of the DPs
- Working with Children and Police Check will be required
This is a home-based role with some face-to-face contact at our Ukrainian halls at Noble Park and Essendon.
The position is for 3 days per week for a period of 6 months with a potential to extend.
